• We set no tracking cookies. If you pick a marketplace yourself (amazon.com or amazon.de), a cookie remembers that choice (“wh_market”, valid for one year) so you land on the right site next time. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your browser's storage. Cloudflare may also set a strictly necessary cookie to fend off automated attacks (such as “__cf_bm”, valid for 30 minutes). All of this is strictly necessary for a function you asked for and needs no consent under § 165 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, which is why there is no cookie banner.
• It embeds no advertising service and no third-party analytics, neither Google Analytics nor anything like it. Visitor statistics run on our own server, without cookies and without sharing data with third parties (section 6).
• It has no user accounts, no newsletter and no contact form.
• Fonts and scripts are served from our own servers, not from Google or other third parties.
• No advertising profile is built: your page views are not linked beyond a single day and are never sold.

When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits your IP address and technical data such as time, requested page and browser type. We process them to keep the site secure and stable and to detect and block attacks.

The site runs on Hetzner servers in Germany. In front of them sits Cloudflare as a security and performance service: every request first passes through Cloudflare's network, which sees the IP address and connection data, blocks attacks and caches content. On a first visit to the front page, the country Cloudflare derives from the IP address decides which regional version you land on (from Germany or Austria, for example, the German deals); it is used for that moment only and never stored. Cloudflare is a US company; transfers rely on Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.

When you click an Amazon link on an offer or report an offer with “Deal gone?”, we store the product number (ASIN), the time, the page you clicked from and the technical connection data from section 3, including your IP address. We need this to prevent abuse, such as automated clicks or false reports, and to see which offers people are interested in. No profile is built; the data is not combined with other data and not shared.

Every offer links to amazon.com. WarehouseHunter takes part in the Amazon Associates Program, so the links carry an affiliate tag. Clicking one takes you off our site. From that moment Amazon's privacy notice applies; Amazon may set cookies on its own site to attribute purchases to the program. Nothing of the kind happens on our site.

To see how many people use the site and which pages land, we keep simple visitor statistics with Umami. Umami is open-source software we run ourselves, on our own server at insights.reamber.com. No third-party analytics service is involved, no data is passed to third parties, and the analysis never leaves Europe.

Nothing is stored on or read from your device: no cookie, no browser storage entry, no device identifier. Each page view records the page, the page you came from, country, device type and screen size, browser, operating system and language. Your IP address is used only in memory, together with the browser details and a random value that changes daily, to compute a checksum that cannot be reversed. That is how the statistics tell that two page views belong to the same visit. The IP address itself is never stored, and because the random value changes daily, this recognition ends after one day. No profile of you is built.

You can object to the statistics at any time; a short email to [email protected] is enough. You can also prevent the count yourself by blocking the script from insights.reamber.com in your browser or with a content blocker.

If you email us, we store your message and your address to handle your request. The data is kept as long as that takes and deleted afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or (b) where a contract is being prepared).

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to [email protected].

If you believe we are breaking data protection law, you can complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, dsb.gv.at.

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling. This policy describes the site as it is today. If a feature is added that processes data, it will be added here.
